Musical art was for me not just a fad - the music became my profession. Music - a way of expressing themselves as individuals, music - my irreplaceable incentive to continuous self-improvement, music - my life!

Piano for me?

It is amazing and is the perfect tool with which you can create a variety of images and indulge in any mood - with it you can share the sadness and joy, it can talk about anything - this musical instrument will not leave you without the attention and certainly share with you its stories.

Throughout all the lessons I'll be happy to pass on my knowledge and skills to you, dear friends!

I would be happy to introduce you to the multifaceted and vast expanses of the art of playing the piano.

Alina Uddin an accomplished Ukrainian born pianist, teacher, chamber performer and concertmaster. She has appeared in numerous stages in USA, Ukraine, Egypt, Spain and Morocco.

Alina’s desire to become an artist came at an early age. She performed songs and poetry at all family events, but her dream was to learn how to play the piano. She imagined herself giving concert with her small model of a real piano by setting music paper on the music stand and having dolls as the audience.

Her piano studies started at the age of 7 at the Children Musical School No.1 in Sumy, Ukraine and gave her first solo recital ‘’Evening of Waltzes’’ at the age of 11. Alina continued her education with D. Bortnianskiy High School of Arts and Culture, Sumy, Ukraine, were she got an Associate degree in Music Art. Through education in National P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in the class of People’s Artist, Professor Lyudmila Marcevich Alina was performing at National Philharmonic of Ukraine, National P.I. Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine, Kiev’s House of Teachers and National Museum of Literature in Ukraine and many others.

While studying in Ukraine Alina was participating in numerous regional and national competitions and festivals. International Piano competition “Nueva Acropolis” Madrid, Spain gave her more opportunities to appear internationally. Throughout her studies, she had the opportunity of working with a number of distinguished piano teachers such as Valentina Skoromnaya, Nelli Ldova, Aleksandr Ldov, Lyudmila Martsevich, Nancy Weems, Timothy Hester, and Brian Suit. Alina also participated in master classes with Michail Stepanenko, Alla Zadirackaya, Iya Pavlova, Cristina Capparelli Gerling and others prominent musicians.

Alina has a Masters degree in Applied Piano Performance from Moores School of Music, University of Houston under the instructions of Nancy Weems. She also holds Masters degree in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Chamber Ensemble, and Accompaniment from Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

Alina has been giving piano lessons for students from ages 5 through adult for over 17 years with different levels of expertise. She has USA and International teaching experience with countries like Ukraine, Egypt and Morocco. Her passion is to provide the best knowledge to each student’s needs and abilities which allows to tailor each lesson accordingly. The goal is to enrich the lives of children and others through the understanding and enjoyment of classical music and to serve as an inspiration for the next generation of musicians.

Alina currently is a member of faculty in International Music Academy and St. Andrew School of Art.
